Hi, we have a room becoming available on 8th Nov, in our share house at Newmarket, close to shops and transport. $160 per week includes Internet, electricity, etc, so no bills to pay.
The room is very bright and airy, and is fully furnished with a single bed, desk, chair and built-in cupboards and bookshelves. There is a lock on the bedroom door and Bed linen is provided.
The house is fully furnished with two fully equipped kitchens (one inside and one on the back veranda) lounge room, dining, bathroom with separate toilet, laundry and a back veranda with a nice green outlook.
Public transport is close by, with trains to the city and Valley operating every 15 mins during peak hour. The train trip to the valley takes about 10 mins. The Newmarket train station is 7 minute walk away.
City buses also run every 15 minutes to the city and Chermside, and the bus trip takes about 10-15 mins. The bus stop is a 5 minute walk away.
Or if you prefer, I'm told it takes about 45 minutes to walk to the city, if you're so inclined!
The Newmarket shopping centre is at the end of the street, with Coles supermarket, bakery, coffee shops, cafes, take-aways, and a bar.
This is a very clean and quiet house, in a nice quiet neighbourhood. You would be sharing with 4 other people, both male and female. They are all very respectful of other people's privacy, but also very friendly.
